SURGERY
Our surgeries are ultrasound- or arthroscope-guided minimally invasive procedures,
which minimize nerve or vessel injury, bleeding, and postoperative pain — truly “non-incisional” orthopedic surgery. All surgeries are performed on an outpatient (day-surgery) basis.
Unlike most other facilities, we perform a large number of ultrasound-guided procedures,
allowing patients to receive advanced treatments safely and comfortably.
During surgery, patients can relax while watching their favorite music, movies, or programs of choice.

Specialities

Orthopedics is a specialty that deals with diseases of joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves, and connective tissues that are important for human movement. Our clinic offers outpatient care by hand surgeons, sports injuries, muscle, tendon, and nerve examinations using echocardiography, hydrorelease, treatment of inflamed blood vessels in the hands and feet (moyamoya vessels), and treatment for "low-treatment" conditions such as spring toe, Dokervan's disease, carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's contracture, elbow tunnel syndrome, ganglion, tennis elbow, and plantar tendonitis. We also provide general orthopedic care with a focus on minimally invasive day surgery for Achilles tendonitis, plantar tendonitis, postural evaluation and improvement, and children's orthopedic surgery.   1. Center for Musculoskeletal Minimally Invasive Day Surgery

    　We have two minimally invasive operating rooms. We perform unique techniques such as "no cutting" surgery, which is rarely performed elsewhere, and hybrid minimally invasive surgery combining a 1.9mm endoscope, which is as thick as a syringe needle, and an echo, instead of the 4mm thick endoscope normally used. 　Spring Finger, Dukerban's Disease, Dupuytren's Contracture, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Elbow Tunnel Syndrome, Ganglion, Tennis Elbow, Achilles Tendonitis, Plantar Tendonitis, etc. are the targets of this surgery.

  2. Children's Orthopedics

    　Our clinic provides specialized treatment for children's orthopedic disorders (growing pains and sports injuries) from young children to university students, using X-rays, echo, MRI, and rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system. Please feel free to consult us if you have any symptoms, even if they are minor.

  3. Sports Medicine

    　There are no coincidences in sports injuries and disorders. The slightest poor condition can lead to a small injury, which in turn leads to a major injury. Our clinic is equipped with the only stretching machine in Kagawa. Our orthopedic specialists and physiotherapists who are well versed in sports work together to pursue the causes of sports injuries and disorders, and lead to diagnosis and treatment.

  4. Hydrodissection and Perineural Injection

    Our clinic actively and professionally performs hydro-release injections (a liquid-based treatment to remove adhesions and soften tissue in nerves and muscles). Due to sports injuries, chronic inflammation, poor posture, and skeletal changes, the body has adhesions in various places that compress and pull on nerves and cause pain. We use non-surgical methods to treat the condition, as much as possible, combined with rehabilitation to maximize and sustain its effects.

  5. Embolization of Abnormal Blood Vessels

    　Many conditions that produce chronic pain in the hands and feet have been shown to result from abnormal capillaries, which are inflammatory blood vessels (moyamoya vessels). These inflammatory vessels entrap pain nerves and produce intractable pain. By injecting medication into the inflammatory blood vessels, we are able to reduce the inflammatory vessels and relieve pain. This is a relatively easy, one-day treatment with no serious side effects.

  6. General Orthopedics

    　Orthopedic surgeons are specialists who look at muscles, joints, ligaments, and other musculoskeletal organs. The musculoskeletal system includes the muscles, nerves, ligaments, and tendons of the extremities, with the exception of the digestive organs and organs. At our clinic, our orthopedic surgeons provide specialized care. By presenting you with a variety of treatment options, we hope to provide you with the best possible care. Please feel free to consult with us. We will also refer patients to our affiliated hospitals when collaboration is necessary.

  7. Hand and Elbow Surgery

    　We provide medical examinations by hand surgeons certified by the Japanese Society for Surgery of the Hand. The hand is one of the most intricately structured parts of the body that has developed for human life. We treat tendonitis including spring toe, numbness of the hand, joint pain, tennis elbow and other tendon injuries, fractures, ligament injuries, and sports injuries. We also perform one-day minimally invasive (low-burden) upper extremity surgeries (such as non-surgical spring finger surgery, non-surgical carpal tunnel syndrome surgery, non-surgical Docheruban tendonitis surgery, non-surgical Dupuytren's contracture surgery, and non-surgical ganglion surgery).

  8. Postural Asessment

    　Shoulder stiffness and back pain gradually become chronic and difficult to heal. It becomes even more difficult as collagen deteriorates with age. At our clinic, we believe that it is important to detect and correct postural changes as early as possible, and early intervention for stiff shoulders and back pain is our basic policy. We hope to contribute to you as a clinic that tackles spinal problems, which are increasing in our aging society, from an early stage in a preventive manner. We have introduced x-rays that can take pictures of the entire spine, allowing us to capture changes in posture as a whole. Please consult with us if you are shrinking in height, your back is rounding, or you have chronic stiff shoulders or back pain.

  9. Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography

    　We use ultra-high definition echo with a resolution of 0.1 mm to examine the patient. We have introduced a micro blood flow evaluation technique called iSMI, which allows us to see the "moyamoya" or inflammatory blood vessels that are causing pain. We are able to identify the cause of pain and link it to treatment. Not only for diagnosis, but also for treatment, we use echo to accurately treat hydrotherapy, moyamoya vascular treatment, prolotherapy, peripheral nerve release, nerve block, and other therapies. Furthermore, we also use it during surgeries for spring finger, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other conditions to reduce the burden of surgery.
